Lot contains: (A) Signal cannon with a tapered iron tube measuring about 16" with a 1-1/8" diameter bore. Complete with later Naval carriage on wheels. CONDITION: Good. Tube retains a pitted surface with dark patina. Carriage has a few minor chips. (B) Small iron signal cannon measures about 12" overall with a 9-1/2" iron tube with a .63 caliber bore. It is complete with a wooden carriage with steel wheels. CONDITION: Very good. Tube has been painted black and shows some casting flaws. Paint shows a few scattered marks. Carriage with some minor chipping and marks from use. The is a nice lot of two attractive signal cannons.
