Extremely rare 1920 commercial grip safety Luger. There are very few known examples of this gun. They are all in the "i" block with a four digit serial number. It has all matching numbers and is numbered in the commercial style. Crown "N" commercial proof on the receiver, and the left side of the center toggle link. Features V notch rear sight and factory dovetailed front sight, correct unrelieved firing pin, correct tin and wood bottom magazine marked "Germany"; and straw colored trigger, magazine release, takedown lever and thumb safety. Extractor is marked "GELADEN" and the thumb safety is marked "GESICHERT" in the lower position. Wide grip safety. "DWM" in scroll is on the center toggle link. CONDITION: Gun retains approximately 70% of the original rust blue finish with brown patina bleeding threw the finish. The barrel is a replacement barrel with a great bore with sharp lands and grooves. A very attractive and hard to find grip safety commercial Luger. Comes in a German commercial flap holster.
