Features long frame, round pencil barrel with dovetailed inverted V front sight, U notch rear sight on rear toggle link, wide grip safety, and walnut checkered grips. Eight round detachable box magazine. Extractor marked "GELADEN". Cross in shield above the chamber and "DWM" in scroll on middle toggle link. Manufactured by DWM for military sales in Switzerland. Total number manufactured was 10,215. That includes both cross in shield and cross in sunburst. This gun was in the last shipment of 700 guns from DWM in 1914. Left side of frame is marked "P.57", which signifies that it was released from military service in 1957. All matching numbered gun. Wood checkered grips have sharp checkering and no chips or cracks. They are un-numbered. Tin magazine has a wood bottom with the Swiss style disc inserts. Mirror bore with sharp lands and grooves. CONDITION: Gun has been arsenal refinished and retains approximately 98% arsenal blue finish and 90% straw. Safety in the upper position with the lower position in the white. Comes in an Swiss leather holster with the shoulder straps.
