The first 10,000 Model 1927s were manufactured at Hartford for the Argentine Army. After these 10,000 were made the Argentine Government licensed this model for production at Rosario, Argentina in a government factory. They feature blued finish, checkered walnut grips and are basically a Colt 1911A1 manufactured in Argentina. You will find matching serial numbers on barrel, slide (twice) and frame. Right side of slide has Argentinian crest and is stamped "EJERCITO ARGENTINO SIST. COLT. CAL. 11.25MM. MOD. 1927". CONDITION: Retains approximately 95% arsenal reapplied blued finish with sharp legends. Fine bore and action.
