A rare dagger with wide fullers, the 11" blade, knife is 2-1/4" at it's widest point and 17-1/2" overall. A pommel formed as a smiling face with incised with carved teeth, eyes, and hair. Blade has museum number W-46 on left side. This rare Native American object has a lovely age patina on both blade and pommel. CONDITION: Overall is good for an object of this type, however, the pommel has been broken but is still held together with its elaborate hair and braided cotton grip.
