This is a classic example of the Ethiopian shield, 24-1/2" in diameter with excellent early patination and characteristic knobs and surface. Grip is still intact and shield retains part of its original strap. CONDITION: Good, with some minor losses to rim. These are becoming increasingly collectible and are prized by collectors of African weapons.
