Lot consists of five medals given for life saving and shooting. Four of these medals were awarded for life saving, all awarded by England. (A) Liverpool Shipwreck and Humane Society Swimming & Live Saving Proficiency Award, dated 1919, and has blue/white ribbon in case with engraved presentation to Archie Dennis of the Caledonian School. CONDITION: Excellent. (B) Royal Society for the Protection of Life From Fire presented to Henry Purcell Pitcher in 1869. CONDITION: Excellent, top attachment point broken. (C) is a Liverpool Shipwreck and Humane Society Marine medal awarded to Langdon Popham for Gallant Service in a lifeboat, 1908. CONDITION: Excellent. (D) Shipwrecked Fishermen and Mariner's Royal Benevolent Society Medal, also awarded to Popham on the same date. CONDITION: Excellent. (E) Shooting medal, largest at 2 - 1/2" presented to Willliam Douglas, October 1829. CONDITION: Excellent. All are excellent and have total silver weight of 5.2 troy ounces.
