This lot contains some unusual items of interest. 1) Cast pin with front reading “PINEHURST COUNTRY CLUB PINEHURST N.C. PINEHURST GUN CLUB PINEHURST NC” with dog pointing and crossed shotguns. Back has laurel wreath with bow at bottom and is inscribed “PINEHURST COUNTRY CLUB Mid-Winter Trap Shooting Tournament AMATEUR HIGH AVERAGE WON BY – no entry – JANY 25 1908 PINEHURST N.C.”. 14K yellow gold 16.45 dwt. 2) Badge with American eagle on top, banner inscribed “GEORGE M. BEACH”, central seal showing machinery surrounded by circle in blue enamel with lettering “BOARD OF PUBLIC SAFETY WATERBURY, CONN.”, with inscribed dates outside the circle 1904 (plain), 1902 (black), 1903 (black) and 1904 (plain). Scrolls and American flag themed shield are that the bottom of the pin. 14K yellow gold 12.60 dwt. 3) Unusual pendant medal with suspension bar inscribed “PAST CHIEF COMPANION” with plaque below hanging from chains inscribed “ATLANTIC CITY CIRCLE 1286” and main pin body hanging below that. Body inscribed “BRIDIE KEOGH” across top arc, above eagle body and mounted diamond. Center has blue enamel with inlaid buck and doe below two draped American flags. Ribbon at bottom with letters “C OF F OF A”. Double laurel wreaths with bow surround the central motif. 10K yellow gold 5.70 dwt. 4) Pendant medal – elaborate arced suspension bar printed with “NATIONAL CELEBRATION”. Main pin body has scroll across the top with integral lettering “SCHENLEY PARK” and American flag motif shield at center. Winged foot at center of shield, “JULY 4TH 1895 in banner at top of shield and rays of sun above banner. Laurel leaves on either side of shield. 10K yellow gold 9.50 dwt. 5) Silver pendant medal with “II PRIZE 100 YARDS RUN” inscribed in suspension bar. Hanging connected to an American eagle atop an American flag motif shield and the central pin. Central symbol underlined “PITTSBURGH.” and surrounded by belt with the integral words “SCHENLEY PARK JULY 4TH 1898.” Inscribed on back of eagle “KLEIN KRAUS & CO. PITTSB’G PA”. Total 14K = 29.05 dwt. and 10K = 15.20 dwt. Condition: Excellent to Near Mint.
