Model 1920 armory pistol rack for M1911A1 pistols. These are seldom seen on the collector market outside of military armories. This was standard issue with military police companies as their reliance on pistols was much heavier than other standard line units. It secures 80 1911A1 pistols and was nicknamed "The 1911 Christmas Tree". The lower half of each pistol, including the trigger guard, will protrude beneath the shelf. Each shelf has a sliding lever that when moved to the left, causes a steel projection to enter the trigger guards of all twenty pistols per shelf. When this occurs, a hole in the lever aligns with a fixed hole on the shelf allowing installation of a padlock, securing all twenty pistols from removal. CONDITION: Excellent and serviceable with 85% of the standard OD green factory paint remaining.
