Lot contains: Two very nice display British Sten Mk II dummy guns. Both have solid aluminum casting tubes with milled out simulated bolt slots with charging handles glued in at the forward positions. Remaining parts including barrels, shrouds, mag housings, trigger housings, triggers and springs, slings loops and slings appear original British issue. Gun #1 mag housing marked "E & Co" with sling ink stamped, "HC & Co LTD 1944". Gun #2 also marked "E & Co" with wide sling marked "HE CO 1944". Mainsprings have been cut short to be 4" long to fit in milled recess withing aluminum dummy receiver tube. CONDITION: About 90% black enamel paint finish with some scattered area of surface corrosion on steel pieces. Original magazines appear serviceable, as do slings, shoulder loops, and triggers with springs. A nice pair of dummy guns absolutely suitable for use in filming, or as WW2 display pieces.
