Gun (A) is a Spandau made German 71/84 Mauser rifle. Retains a pleasing patina overall with some light surface rust and minor pitting. All markings are clear. Bolt number is not matching, however the condition is. Stock has numerous dings, dents, and bruises. Good mechanical function. The bolt screw is out a bit and does not seem to want to go either in nor out. Dated 1888. Leather sling. This gun is accompanied by a model 1871 brass handled bayonet, dated 75 on the spine. Made by Kirschbaum. In the correct scabbard. Both the bayonet and scabbard are unit marked "15.R", bayonet unit mark ends in "6.181", scabbard unit mark ends in "8.6". Blade has some old light sharpening with some staining and an area of pitting on the right side. The seam of the scabbard has split. Brass on both retains a nice mellow patina. Push button works well. Gun (B) is a Siamese contract type 46 rifle, made in Japan. Retains an even age patina. Stock is solid with numerous dings and handling marks. Good mechanical function. All markings are clear. Original sliding dust cover. Does not appear to be import marked, however it has an added lightly electric penciled serial number on the left side of the receiver. Bore is dirty with strong rifling. Accompanied by the correct bayonet and scabbard.
