Galle lamp has dome shade with red cameo peonies and leaves, all set against a frosted yellow background. The large bulbous base has red cameo flowers, stems and leaves against a frosted cream colored background. Both the base and shade are signed on the side in cameo "Galle". Base is complete with a bronze three arm spider and has been rewired with contemporary American sockets to illuminate both the shade and the base. A similar example is pictured in the book "Galle Lamps" by Alistair Duncan and George de Bartha on page 52. The shade is 18-1/4" in diameter, lamp stands 24" tall. Both are in very good to excellent condition.
