This fine shotgun has been masterfully upgraded to a Pigeon grade and shows master engraving at the breech of barrel, scroll and punch dot engraving on frame with gold inlay borders, game bird and dogs inlaid in gold (four) in an engraved field scene on left; right side is similar with two game birds and one dog. Pigeon engraved on tube. Jeweled loading port and bolt. Custom deluxe checkered triple X pistol grip walnut stock with straight comb and Winchester plate and cap. Vent rib and dual bead. CONDITION: As new inside and out. Appears unfired since custom work was performed. This is a stunningly handsome upgraded Model 42. The engraving and gold work alone would be several thousand dollars, not to mention the finish and custom stocks; it would make the cost of the upgrade over $4,000 alone.
