This is a beautifully machined, high condition, turn of the century .22 caliber target single shot pistol. The barrel is half octagon to round, with light engraving at breech, fully hand checkered on top of barrel with Paris mark. Has a hooded target front sight. Fire blued adjustable target rear sight. Rear blade is missing and will need to have one machined. CONDITION: Barrel retains approximately 95% original factory blue with usual nicks and dings. Razor sharp legends. Rear sight base has 90% of the fire blue finish. Beautiful engraved case colored frame retains approximately 70% colors, some bright. Engraved trigger guard with spur is grey patina. Straps are engraved and are grey patina. Engraved metal butt in grey patina. Finely checkered walnut grips are very good with a few dings and some softness to checkering. Bore and action are excellent. Get a rear sight blade installed and you'll have a beautiful, early target pistol in excellent condition.
