Circa 1899, Southall, London, England. The tall bird-form tobacco jar with shades of olive and brown polychrome glaze. The fitted head cover signed in script "Martin Bros./ London & Southall/ 3 - 1899". The base with etched incised signature "Martin Bros./ London Southall". Remnants of original paper label beneath the round plinth. Overall in very fine condition. Original surfaces with no restoration, repairs or damage noted.
