Starting in the mid-1940's Litschert began offering a line of high quality target scopes. All featured coated optics and 1/4 minute, micrometer-click, adjustable mounts. His business was sold to Myron Davis in 1961 who continued to sell these quality scopes under Davis Optical Co. This is a Spotshot 1-1/2" target scope that was manufactured 1953 to 1961. This is a 12x, 3/4" tube, 24-1/2" long, offered with a 1-1/2" objective, aluminum adjustable mounts. CONDITION: Balance of scope is blued of which 98% remains. Has both screw in lens covers. Standard crosshairs with 2-1/2" eye relief. This is a beautiful, early scope in fine condition.
