Lot consists of: Gun (A) Custom rifle built on 1898 Krag action. This old Krag rifle was customized, barrel cut, Springfield 1903 sight installed, added receiver sight. CONDITION: Stock is original with added buttplate and hole plugs. Metal is basically blue-grey patina. Bore has strong rifling but has black powder abrasion. Fine action. A nice rifle made up to look like a Mannlicher. Gun (B) First generation Universal M1 Carbine which mainly used USGI parts. Has metal heat shield, 20 round magazine, hardwood stock. CONDITION: Retains approximately 90% original factory blue with some light freckling. Fine bore and action. These are very fun and inexpensive guns to fire. Gun (C) Cut down Japanese Model 99 with intact mum, plum bolt knob, barrel cut to 20", original stock has been altered. CONDITION: Still has original sight. This is not a custom gun but simply a surplus cut down Japanese military rifle. Gun (D) Gew 98 made at the Danzig factory in 1917 with mismatched numbers. Original stock has has significant alterations made and has virtually no collector value. However it does have the original barreled action. A parts gun. Gun (E) Italian boys rifle given to the Fascist boy's clubs during the War. Dated 1938 and manufactured in Verona. All of the frame and small parts including bayonet were nickel plated. CONDITION: Magazine is cracked. Barrel is blue brown patina. Stock is very good, complete with inspector stamps on left side. The Italian version of a boy scout rifle. Scarce two tone factory presentation rifle with no name attached. Gun (F) Chinese SKS in 7.62x39mm. A typical Chinese made Vietnam War era with mismatched numbers. Stock is numbered to rifle. Original bayonet, hardwood two piece stock set. Rear sights graduates to 1000 meteres, high target globe front sight. CONDITION: All metal is grey to brown patina. Bolt is freckled. Stock is very good. Good solid war used SKS. Gun (G) Non-functional Victory Trainer 1942 PD Company rifle drill copy of the 1903 Springfield with period web sling. CONDITION: Usual minor handling wear but 98% overall. Interesting mid-war trainer.
