Lot consists of: Gun (A) Manufactured 1950. Pre-war carbine features full round barrel, full magazine, twin bands, hooded ramp front sight, Winchester sporting rear sight, blued finish, walnut stock, long forend and checkered steel buttplate. CONDITION: This classic carbine retains approximately 90% of the original blue finish with sharp legends and light handling marks. High edge wear and freckling on frame. Wood is proud to metal with usual dings. Fine rifled bore and action. Gun (B) Manufactured 1942 to 1948. Specs on this gun are identical to Gun (A) with the exception of caliber being .30-30 WCF. CONDITION: Frame has overall high edge wear only. Minor storage marks on barrel and tube. Still retains approximately 85-90% original factory blue. Near mint and fine action. Another fine pair of early, classic 1894 carbines.
