Daum box has cameo violets surrounding the body of the box and extending onto the round lid. The leaves and stems of the violets are enameled in shades of green, while the violet flowers are enameled in shades of purple, all against a mottled yellow shading to cream background. Signed on the side of the box in cameo "Daum Nancy" with the Cross of Lorraine. The vase is 5-1/2" in diameter and in very good to excellent condition.
