Superb Antique Art Deco Platinum & Diamond Necklace, Signed J.E. Caldwell & Co., consisting of eight (8) pear shape diamonds ranging from approximately 3.5x4.7mm to 7.1x9.8mm each, with an estimated total weight of 4.25cts. The center diamond measures 7.1x9.8x4.2mm, and has an estimated weight of 1.75cts. There are also one hundred fifty nine (159) mixed tapered and straight cut baguette diamonds with an estimated total weight of 14.00cts, six (6) marquise cut diamonds with an estimated total weight of 1.00cts, and sixty five (65) round brilliant cut diamonds ranging from 2.5mm to 3.0mm, with an estimated total weight of 5.00cts. Overall, there are a total of two hundred thirty eight (238) diamonds with an estimated combined total weight 24.25cts. The necklace measures 15" in length, and has a gross weight of 45.1 dwt. It is stamped (JEC&Co X3659" on the clasp. The diamonds have an estimated grading ranging from G-I color, and from VS-SI clarity. The center diamond mounting has a hinged clasp/hook, and is removable.
