Rare and desirable pre-64 Winchester Model 70 National Match target rifle with Fecker scope and bolt hang tag. Features sporter weight barrel, factory mounted Lyman 48 receiver sight, target front sights with Unertl type scope bases mounted forward of barrel ring and in receiver bridge; and oversized Winchester target walnut stock, target sling rail in forearms and target pattern wide butt with checkered steel buttplate. Mounted with steel tube center adjustment J.W. Fecker scope complete with white aluminum lens covers and recoil spring system. Attached to the bolt is a Winchester tag indicating that the bolt is specifically intended for the use of this rifle by serial number and is also etched on both with matching number as well. CONDITION: All blued metal surfaces retain 98% original finish with just some minor handling marks. Stocks are excellent, proud to metal with most original finish and varnish, and just a couple minor handling marks. Scope has some flaking to the black enamel finish. Fine bore and action. Beautiful, near mint National Match.
