This is an interesting Model 1908 that has a full length matted rib that appears to be added by the factory the job is so good. Features bead front sight, filled rear sight slot, stippled bridge, butter knife bolt handle, double set triggers, full length walnut stock with checkered wrist and forend, pistol grip cap, straight comb, small rollover cheek piece, black spacer with red rubber Pachmayr pad added and sling swivels. Patent, maker and "M1908" on bridge. There is a Lyman receiver sight and a Weaver K2.5 scope mounted in Jaeger quick release mounts. CONDITION: Barrel retains virtually all of the blue finish, as does frame. Wood has had an added coat of varnish. Sharp checkering. Fine bore and action. Classic European hunting rifle.
