Twin round smoothbore barrels with hooked breech and solid rib inscribed "London", small brass bead at muzzle. Twin lockplates marked "Wilson" in script, converted to percussion. Double triggers, engraved brass furniture in the French style, buttplate tang decorated with arms motifs. Walnut halfstock with checkered wrist. Period wooden ramrod with brass tip. CONDITION: Fair condition, showing heavy wear overall. Barrels retain a brown patina with some corrosion at breeches. Locks retain a grey patina and show wear and scattered freckling. Brass unpolished, stock shows heavy wear to checkering and scattered losses and splinters. A fine converted Indian Wars percussion period shotgun!
