Springfield M1 Garand originally built in August 1943. Gun was rebuilt for Korea and has a Harrington & Richardson marked barrel with a date of 11-52. Late style stamped trigger group with all Harrington & Richardson marked parts. Springfield marked op rod, bolt and late rear sight. Stock has "P" in circle and eagle with three stars cartouche on left side of gun. Comes with period green woven sling. CONDITION: Barrel has 85% original arsenal finish. TE reading: 2. ME reading: 2. Action retains 85% arsenal finish. Wood has 90% arsenal refinish with fading but visible cartouches stock was probably sanded at arsenal and refinished. Gun has no import marks. Mechanically sound and functions fine.
