We are told by the consignor that the curved glass panel was designed by Jean Dupas and executed by Charles Champigneulle for the Grand Salon on the Ocean Liner SS Normandie. The etched eglomise panel depicts the rigging of a sailing ship and cannons pointed out the side of the ship below the rigging. The gold leaf work is nicely detailed and shaded. One small section on the edge of the glass panel is mirrored. The panel measures 10-1/2" wide x 49" long and is in very good to excellent condition.
This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made.
