Contemporary table lamp by stained glass artist Joseph Porcelli has a leaded glass shade with rich red mandevilla flowers surrounded by green and cream colored leaves, all set against a swirling blue geometric background. The varying shades of red glass in the mandevilla flowers gives the shade great intensity. The shade rests on a bronze base with four pad feet supporting a round platform with egg crate decoration. The cylindrical stem supports an artichoke riser and three socket cluster. The base is finished in a deep brown patina. The lamp is topped with a pierced bronze cap. Shade is signed near the aperture "Porcelli", base is unsigned. Shade is 18" in diameter, lamp is 26" tall. Both the shade and base are in very good to excellent condition.
