This beautiful German target rifle was built in Altenburg and features a full octagon barrel with false muzzle, a high gold bead dovetail front sight, a system winder, target rear sight, Martini style action. Top of the barrel is stamped "E. Dotter, Main". Action is hand engraved on both sides of frame, top of frame, bottom of frame and trigger guard. Features double set triggers. Swiss buttplate. Beautiful walnut stocks. Single lanyard ring. Base for lollipop sight but no stem. CONDITION: Barrel retains approximately 98% original blue. Case colors have faded on top of frame but are still visible on bottom. 90% blue on trigger guard. Stocks are excellent. Fine action. Near mint bore. If you shoot in these type of matches, this gun should serve you well. There is a hairline crack on left side of forend that almost looks like wood grain.
