Lot consists of: Gun (A) is a fairly scarce Frontier Scout with the rare alloy frame, trigger guard, ejector head and backstrap. Blued barrel, blued and fluted six shot cylinder, black plastic grips. CONDITION: Revolver exhibits some muzzle wear and drag line. Everything else is like new inside and out. Box is numbered to another gun but does have the proper gold end label with specifics trimmed from end label. Gun (B) is a Colt Single Action Buntline Scout. Made in 1959, the first year of production for Buntlines. Features the blued steel barrel, ejector housing, and cylinder. Frame, trigger guard, and backstrap are all alloy. It is a six shot, single action, fluted and rebated cylinder with two piece walnut grips. CONDITION: Barrel is a pleasing blend of brown patina and traces of original blue with razor sharp legends. Housing has 50% blue, balance patina. Cylinder has 85% blue with high edge wear, drag line, and some thinning on high edges. Frame is a dull aluminum color that has been tapped and filled with set screws. Trigger guard and backstrap are a blue-black factory finish with overall high edge wear and some plum. Grips are excellent albeit a little ill fitting at the frame. Action and bore are like new.
