This early pistol is dated 1924 on right side of slide. All matching numbers on every part, to include hammer, safety, frame, slide, trigger, grip safety, backstrap, firing pin retaining plate and magazine catch. This pistol was produced from 1917 to 1933 when production stopped until taken over by the German Government for production in 1940 through 1945. This pistol has no Nazi Waffenamt stamps. All correct small parts. Sports a pair of World War II fully checkered brown plastic Keyes type grips. Lanyard ring magazine is unmarked. CONDITION: Finish is basically a blue-grey patina. Fine bore and action. Widely used by the German Army during the second World War. CORRECTION: Slide stop has been period replaced. There is no checkering or serial number which allowed the World War II style Keyes type grips to be utilized. Appears to be period done for use in World War II.
