This early pre-29 was produced when this model was the top of the Smith & Wesson lineup. Features blued finish, six shot, fluted cylinder, double action, red ramp front sight, target adjustable rear sight, case colored target hammer, case colored wide trigger, and silver medallion diamond checkered rosewood grips (not Coke bottles). CONDITION: Cylinder has a drag line and high edge wear. Barrel has muzzle and thinning along sides from holster. Some thinning to trigger guard with some spots and some minor high edge frame wear. It is obvious this gun was used but well-cared for. The quality and action is far above that of later revolvers. Fine bore action. This example is nice enough to be considered collectible, but with enough wear that you'll never feel bad about shooting it.
