These rifles were built on the 1885 Hi-Wall action in the semi-military style with full round barrel, full finger groove walnut forend with nose cap, rear barrel band with sling, carbine style walnut buttstock with sling. Vintage Lyman tang sight installed. CONDITION: Someone has drilled six holes at the rear of the barrel for various scope mounts, which could easily be filled or install a scope. Barrel retains approximately 95% original factory blue with sharp legends and minor age freckling. Frame has turned a soft patina. Walnut stocks are excellent with a few normal abrasions, but proud to metal. Strong bore with a nice action. Mounted with a full length tube scope, this would be both a handsome and practical single shot target rifle.
