Lot consists of: Gun (A) Remington 03A3. Beautiful barrel action with proper sight. Barrel is a RA 4-43 barrel with original front sight. Hand guard and stock have been cut just forward of rear pressed band. CONDITION 95% arsenal applied finish on action. Corrosion on floorplate and trigger guard which are easily replaced. TE reading: 1. ME reading: 0. Strong bore. You simply need to find a complete, original stock and a better floorplate, and you would have a nice 03A3 with a great bore. Very easy parts to find. Gun (B) 1917 Winchester. Winchester barrel dated 11-17. Custom pistol grip stock with no checkering. CONDITION: Barreled action still retains the majority of the original blue finish. Still has front sight and front sight base. Unfortunately they tapped the frame for Bausch & Lomb mounts (included). If one were to replace the stock with the proper military style and get a long tube scope such as a Lyman or Winchester, this would make a near faux World War I sniper rifle. TE reading: 3.
