Lot consists of: US Model 1903 Springfields. Gun (A) Remington 1903-A3 with 7-42 dated "RA" marked barrel. Remington stamped magazine and Remington marked bolt. Walnut stock with "P" in circle mark and Remington buttplate. Original sights. World War II rebuild. Comes with period leather sling. CONDITION: Barrel retains 50% finish with heavy usage marks and a good bore. Receiver has 50% finish and is drilled for a receiver sight. Wood is fair with heavy usage and is oil soaked. Sling is worn with corrosion. Gun (B) Springfield manufactured receiver built in 1918 with Remington marked barrel and dated 2-43. Walnut wood stock with no cartouches and a Remington buttplate. Comes with period leather sling and original sights and a Redfield receiver sight. CONDITION: Barrel has 40% finish with a shootable bore. Receiver has 40% finish with added receiver sight. Wood is oil soaked but solid. Sling is oil soaked and well worn.
