Features six shot, fluted cylinder, double action, blued finish and lanyard ring. Military stamps include "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" under barrel, Ordnance bomb on top left frame, "AA" Augusta Arsenal stamp on left side of frame, Springfield eagle head left side of trigger bow, "US ARMY MODEL 1917" on butt. Matching numbers on cylinder and barrel. CONDITION: This gun has been used and carried in a holster but is still sharp and crisp. Retains approximately 75% original blue with the balance turned soft patina. Razor sharp legends. Two piece walnut grips are excellent. Indexes and locks up correctly. Near mint bore. This is the first example this writer has seen with the Augusta Arsenal rebuild stamp.
