Jumbo the Elephant doorstop with a book on the story of Jumbo by Paul Chambers. Jumbo the elephant doorstop has a lot of presence with considerable detail and nicely blended colors. Depicts Jumbo with short tusks wearing decorated blanket. Signed on back with English insignia. A large, quite substantial and imposing doorstop. Jumbo – the 13,000 pound African elephant who inspired, musicians, circus goers, illustrators, and the world. Jumbo is considered one of the world's most famous elephants. He was the star of Barnum & Bailey Circus who inspired the Disney movie "Dumbo". Incredibly rare.
