Lot consists of: Gun (A) Winchester Model 1894 carbine manufactured 1975. Features full round barrel, full magazine, twin bands, hooded front sight, rear sight removed, Williams peep sight added, blued finish, walnut stock and black composite buttplate. CONDITION: Barrel and tube retains 90% original factory blue. The lacquer finish in frame is thinning and spotted on both sides. Rear stock has been replaced with what looks like maple. Forend is original walnut and has usual bumps and bruises. Buttstock is near mint. Near mint bore. Fine action. Gun (B) Winchester Model 1894 rifle manufactured 1912. Features full octagon barrel, full magazine, sporting front sight, rear dovetail filled, Lyman 41W receiver sight, walnut stocks and rifle butt. CONDITION: Barrel retains approximately 85% original blue with razor sharp edges and legends. There is spotting on both sides of the barrel and tube from muzzle to just past the hanger. Frame, forend cap and buttplate are all grey patina. Stocks are excellent and proud to metal wearing their original finish with no cracks. Fine action. Strong, clean bore. Two generations of Winchester 94's.
