Lot consists of: Gun (A) Winchester Model 1894 lever action rifle manufactured 1904. Features full round barrel, full magazine, Winchester sporting sights. CONDITION: The sad part of this rifle is that someone ruined the frame by plugging three holes on the left side and then cleaning it to gun metal grey. Barrel has soft patina and sharp legends. reproduction tang sight applied. Frame is grey. Forearm is excellent and proud to metal. Buttstock is ill-fitting and some one has nailed a silver plaque to the left side. Fine action. Near mint bore. Replacement frame and stock would be in order. Gun (B) Marlin Model 1889 lever action rifle. These rifles were only manufactured from 1889 to 1894. This example features a full round barrel, full magazine, Rocky Mountain front sight, sporting rear sight, walnut stock and rifle butt. CONDITION: Balance of metal has turned a grey patina with brown undertones and some freckling. Stocks are excellent, proud to metal and in great condition. Strong, shiny bore and fine action.
