With exception to the period pad that desperately needs replacing, gun is in excellent overall, untouched condition. Features full round barrel, sporting sights, blued finish, case colored lever, pistol grip checkered walnut stocks. Tang sight has been added. CONDITION: Barrel retains approximately 90% original factory blue with sharp legends. Frame retains 80% of the matte Du-Lite type blue finish. Strong traces of colors on side of lever. Buttstock is excellent with some areas of varnish loss and a light visible wrist crack on left side of tang, approximately 1-1/4" and one 3" crack on upper left rear forearm. Each of these could be made to easily disappear as they are closed. Beautiful checkering and wood. Fine action. Strong, clean bore with minor frosting. Beautiful rifle with exception to pad and crack in forend.
