Manufactured in 1948, Winchester quality, magazine fed, bolt action target rifle featuring full round barrel, adjustable globe front sight, Redfield target receiver sight, factory tapped scope blocks, blue finish, plain pistol grip walnut stock, checkered steel buttplate, sling swivel, adjustable forward sling bar. Gun comes with period either Wolensack or Mossberg 8x 3/4" tube scope (not able to determine manufacture) with adjustable mounts, standard crosshair, and excellent optics. CONDITION: Barrel and frame retain approximately 98% original factory blue with razor sharp legends. Stock is excellent, beautiful dark walnut with nice grain and minor handling marks. 98% original blue on floorplate, 75% on trigger guard. Fine action and bore. 95% original finish on scope tube with most wear on eye piece. turning patina. Scope comes in homemade storage box. Comes with one magazine. A fine, early, high quality post war Winchester target rifle and scope in collector condition.
