Lot consists of: two good hunting shotguns and a wall-hanger. Gun (A) Remington Model 58 Sportsmen semi-automatic shotgun. Features blued plain round barrel, single bead, later engraved, blued frame, checkered pistol grip walnut stock with straight comb. CONDITION: 95% original blue on barrel with some loss at muzzle and light age freckling. Frame retains 95% original factory blue finish with some light high edge wear. Walnut stock is very good with nice checkering, losing varnish and could use a good resurfacing. Forearm has a repair crack at base. The black composite buttplate has a small chip at base. Smooth, clean bore. Could easily be better with some professional work. Gun (B) Ithaca Model 37. Features blued finish, adjustable compensator, pistol grip checkered straight comb walnut stock. CONDITION: 95% blue overall with light high edge wear and handling marks. A couple of light rough spots on barrel and top of frame. Fine bore and action. Gun (C) cut-down Model 1860 US Springfield with Maynard tape primer and patchbox. CONDITION: Stock cut forward of rear band. Rear sight missing blade. Barrel cut with no sight. Breech of barrel is corroded to rear sight, otherwise all brown metal. This gun would be good for parts or simply as a decoration. There is some good value in the trigger guard, buttplate, lock and Maynard system.
