This rifle started life as a 1919 Mk I cut Springfield 1903 receiver. It was rebuilt for World War II to include a High Standard 1944 barrel, swept-back bolt. World War II large disk sight knob, World War I two bolt finger groove stock. Still retains all the milled parts. CONDITION: Walnut stocks have numerous dings but still good. Barrel has the World War II parkerized finish. Retains approximately 90% World War I bluing on frame. Has unit number stamp on stock. TE reading: 4. ME reading: +2. Mechanically sound. Nice example of typical World War II arsenal rebuild.
