This rifle started life as a 1919 Mk I cut Springfield 1903 receiver. It was rebuilt for World War II to include an SA 12-18 barrel, swept-back bolt. World War II large disk sight knob, World War I two bolt finger groove stock, with rebuild SA/SPG 1938-1940. Still retains all the milled parts. CONDITION: Walnut stocks have numerous dings but still good. Bolt has the World War II parkerized finish. Barrel and frame are a blue-brown patina. TE reading: 3. ME reading: 2. Mechanically sound. Nice example of typical World War II arsenal rebuild using mostly original World War I parts.
