Outstanding quality facsimile copy of the Colt 2nd Model Dragoon. Unknown manufacture but made exactly like an original. This gun came from an important collection in the north west of the United States. Thought to be authentic for many years until recently discovered to be counterfeit. CONDITION, Very good as the exterior has a mottled grey/brown patina. One piece walnut stocks are full sized and well fitting with the proper color and finish as the original. Square back trigger guard has about 40% silver remaining . numbers are matching and the gain twist bore is very good with light darkness. Action functions properly. Really a unique Colt collectible.
