Lot consists of: a very early British Brown Bess bayonet with "NI" marked on blade, one 1855 US Socket bayonet, two 1873 US Trapdoor bayonets, one 1916 dated German "Butcher" bayonet with scabbard and one Emerson & Silver US Model 1840 musician's sword. CONDITION: All socket bayonets are lightly pitted and previously cleaned but appear fine. The Brown Bess bayonet has a small crack in forward end of socket. Musicians sword is slightly stained and without scabbard. The "Butcher" bayonet is very good with crisp markings and nicely marked scabbard. TDW
