Standard pre-war Model 55 features full round barrel, half magazine, takedown, Winchester sporting sights, receiver sight, walnut stock, fluted comb and checkered steel buttplate. CONDITION: Barrel retains approximately 90% original factory blue with scattered handling marks and razor sharp legends. Frame is a mix of blue-brown patina with gunmetal grey. Excellent, proud to metal walnut stocks. Fine bore and action. One of the most perfectly balanced lever action rifles ever made that has survived in used but well cared for condition.
