This custom rifle started with a standard Mauser 98 action, barrel was fitted sans sights, custom walnut stock with schnabel, hand checkered panels on fore end, checkered pistol grip stock, Monte Carlo comb, double fluted roll over cheekpiece, exhibition grade walnut, solid hard rubber buttplate. Blued trigger guard, gold foil trust engraved floor plate with stag, grip cap is engraved "Styled for R.W. Kimball Crafted by C.H. Irwin." Scope is a Leupold 2-7 variable power scope with Redfield mounts and duplex reticle. CONDITION: Gun is in near new condition inside and out. This beautiful rifle was hand built for the consignor.
