Standard features include round barrel, base front sight, Winchester sporting rear sight, half magazine, takedown, blue finish, case colored lever and hammer, walnut stocks, shotgun butt, black monogram buttplate. CONDITION: 85% original blue on barrel with light handling marks. Patina showing through. 75% blue on forend cap, 65% bright factory blue on left side of frame, 90% bright blue on bolt, 45% bright blue on right side of frame with handling marks, traces of color on hammer and lever, wood is proud to metal, forearm is in excellent condition, buttstock has chip at toe and has been sanded where a chip was sanded out. Buttplate missing bottom. Strong action with clean bore. A master woodworker should be able to repair the buttstock and new buttplates are easy to find and fit, turning this into a lovely big bore takedown rifle.
