Shotgun was made by one of the most famous firms in Germany, marked Krupp Steel, which was the company that made the World War II Luftwaffe survival drillings. Features full matted rip stamped J.P. Sauer & Sohn, Suhl. Single bead, scalloped boxlock, double set triggers, checkered walnut splinter fore end with ebony tip and Deeley release. Pistol grip checkered stock with straight comb, small rollover cheekpiece, engraved metal grip cap, monogrammed black composite buttplate. Case colored frame is hand chisel engraved with border tooling and game birds on left and right panel scenes. Blue trigger guard is engraved. All matching numbers. CONDITION: Locks up tight as new, mirror bores, retains 98% original finish, walnut stocks are dark with sharp checkering never refinished. Case colored frame has traces of color. 60% fire blue on trigger guard. Beautiful high quality German shotgun offering quality at a fraction of the price of American and English contemporaries.
