This is a standard US 1903-A3. Barrel is dated 12-43. All the proper parts to include stamped base, bands, front sling swivels, updated rear bridge mounted adjustable sight, the walnut stock has original "FJA" Frank Atwood cartouche with ordnance wheel and additional "RA" stamped Raritan Arsenal for rebuild/refurbish. CONDITION: Aside from some normal handling marks, the gun is in excellent condition retaining most of the arsenal applied military finish. Fit at rear trigger guard is rough but appears to have been done at the time and would not have caused the armorers to reject it. TE reading: 1.5. ME reading: 2. A very nice World War II refurbished rifle.
