The only Winchester factory information is that the serial number was applied on June 28th, 1911. This is a deluxe model that features checkered pistol grip capped walnut stock with beautiful fiery grain, checkered forend and deluxe oil finish. Also features sporting front sight, capped rear and Lyman left side mount receiver sight. British proof marks can be found on left side of barrel and on bolt. CONDITION: 95% or better original factory blue on frame with high edge wear. 95% or better original factory barrel blue with a couple of light spots of freckling and small areas of thinning. Razor sharp legends. Wood has had some finish added and has a small chip at toe. Strong, clean bore. Fine action. Exceptionally handsome deluxe Winchester Model 1903 with British proofs and some of the prettiest wood we have ever seen on this model.
